The MagsWheels Campaign

As many of you know, our lovely Margaret Worthen suffered a stroke last spring during her senior year at Smith College. Maggie is working hard on her recovery and is currently living at Kindred Hospital in Stoughton, Massachusetts where a terrific team of caregivers and friends are helping Maggie to awaken from a coma.

The Friends of Margaret Worthen are thrilled to announce that we have raised $35,000 during our fundraising campaign, surpassing our original goal! These funds will be used to augment Maggie's daily care and support Maggie's movement in the world.  Maggie's family is very grateful for the  financial donations and other forms of generous support so many have shared.

Contributions to support ongoing care for Maggie will continue to be accepted through the MagsWheels Fund, but for now we will take a rest from active fundraising. 

We have been humbled by the strength that Maggie, her parents and her friends have shown during this past year.  We are all thankful to be part of Maggie's circle of life.
